DO ANY OF THESE SOUND LIKE YOU?
Stuck on Autopilot
You’re doing everything you’re supposed to do. You’re working, taking care of yourself, keeping up with responsibilities.. but you don’t feel fully in your life. The days happen, you get things done, and somehow you still feel like you’re watching from the sidelines.
Coming Out of Burnout
You’ve worked hard to create more stability, rest, and breathing room in your life. Now you’re ready for more.. but you don’t want to recreate the exhaustion, pressure, overcommitting, or unsustainable pace that burned you out in the first place.
Afraid to Want More
Part of you wants a bigger, fuller life.. but you don’t completely trust yourself with it yet. You’re afraid that wanting more will turn into doing too much, abandoning your routines, making impulsive decisions, burning yourself out, or sabotaging the stability you’ve worked so hard to build.
Overthinking Everything
You’re incredibly self-aware, but sometimes that awareness works against you. You analyze your choices, question what you really want, consume more information, and wait for certainty when what you actually need is the freedom to try something and see what happens.
Where Did the Fun Go?
You can’t remember the last time you did something simply because you were curious, excited, playful, or interested. Hobbies disappeared, everything started needing a purpose, and you want to rediscover what genuinely makes you feel alive.
Something is Missing
There are things you want.. New experiences, deeper relationships, bigger goals, travel, creativity, career changes, whatever your version of more looks like. But staying where you are feels safer than risking the unknown, so you keep thinking about the life you want instead of experimenting with creating it.
What We’re Working Toward
The goal is to help you feel more like an active participant in your own life. To know yourself well enough to recognize what you actually want and need, and trust yourself enough to make choices without analyzing every possibility first.
We’re working toward a life that has room for all of you—your relationships, interests, responsibilities, ambitions, creativity, rest, fun, and whatever else you decide matters. That includes finding structure that makes your life easier without making it feel rigid, and learning how to challenge yourself without constantly pushing yourself past your limits.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. You need enough confidence to try things, see what happens, change your mind, make adjustments, and keep learning as you go.
What is Self Experimenting?
Self Experimenting is about getting to know yourself while actively building a life that works for you.
That means figuring out your wants, needs, interests, limits, values, and what genuinely matters to you. It also means humanizing yourself along the way—making room for emotions, changing capacity, difficult seasons, mistakes, and the normal ups and downs of being a person. You learn when you need to slow down or change your approach, and when discomfort is something you can work through rather than a reason to stop.
But you can't learn everything about yourself through reflection alone.
Sometimes you have to try the routine. Take the class. Start the hobby. Change the boundary. Have the conversation. Make the plan. Rest more. Challenge yourself more. Go somewhere new. See what happens.
The goal isn't to find the perfect way to live or turn yourself into another project. It's to become better at working with yourself, navigating what life throws at you, and making choices based on what you're actually experiencing—not just what you've been thinking about.
How I Coach
There’s a method to my coaching. Each week, I’ll teach you something specific, and then we’ll figure out what it actually means for your life—what’s working, what isn’t, what you’re struggling with, what you want, and what might be worth trying next.
This isn’t about endlessly analyzing your past or spending an hour talking in open ended conversation that seems to go nowhere. It’s collaborative, curious, challenging, and meant to move you. We’ll make room for your emotions and whatever life throws at you, while still helping you take the next step.
And sometimes that next step is big.. like booking the trip you keep talking about or changing up a routine.. Other times it’s calling a friend, picking up a painting again, trying something new, or just letting yourself have some fun again.
I’ll bring the structure, teaching, questions, perspective, challenge, and accountability. You bring curiosity, openness, and a willingness to experiment with what we’re working on in your actual life.
